Shipping policy

IMPORTANT COVID-19 UPDATE

Due to increased order volume, there may be a slight delay in our warehouses and we do not guarantee delivery times. Our team works hard to ensure that all orders are filled and shipped as soon as possible.

Also, please note that some apartment buildings no longer accept delivery to individual units. Check with your building if you plan to order online.

Lambert & Co. ("we", "us" and "our") is the operator of (https://lambertco.ca) ("Website"). By placing an order on this Website, you agree to the terms and conditions below. These are provided to ensure that both parties are aware of and agree to this arrangement in order to protect each other and set expectations regarding our service.

GENERAL

Subject to stock availability. We try to maintain accurate stock counts on our website, but from time to time there may be a stock discrepancy and we will not be able to process all of your items at the time of purchase. In this case, we will provide you with the available products and contact you to see if you would prefer to wait for the out-of-stock item to be restocked or if you would prefer us to issue a refund.

SHIPPING COSTS

Shipping costs are calculated at the time of payment according to the weight, dimensions and destination of the items in the order. Payment for shipping will be collected with the purchase. This price will be the final price for shipping to the customer.

RETURNS

Returns due to change of mind

Lambert & Co. does not accept returns due to a change of mind. However, we are happy to accept exchanges. See our return policy for details.

TERMS OF DELIVERY

Domestic transit time (Canada)

Generally, domestic shipments are in transit for 2 to 8 business days.

Cross-border transit time (USA)

Generally, cross-border shipments are in transit for 2 to 4 business days.

International transit time

Generally, international orders are in transit for 5 to 25 days, but ultimately vary according to destination country.

Shipping time

Orders are generally shipped within 2 business days of payment.

Our warehouse operates from Monday to Friday during normal business hours, except on public holidays, when the warehouse will be closed. In these cases, we take steps to ensure that shipping delays are kept to a minimum.

Change of delivery address

If you request a change of delivery address, we can change the address at any time before the order is dispatched.

Shipment to a P.O. Box

Family Memories will ship to P.O. Box addresses located in Canada or the United States using postal services only. We cannot offer courier services (UPS, DHL, FedEx, etc) to these locations.

Shipping to military addresses

We can ship to military addresses using Canada Post for addresses in Canada and the United States. We cannot offer this service using courier services (UPS, DHL, FedEx, etc).

Out-of-stock items

If an item is backordered, we will wait until the item is available before shipping your order. Existing items in the order will be reserved until that item becomes available.

Delivery time exceeded

If the delivery time has been exceeded, please contact us so that we can investigate.

NOTIFICATION FOLLOW-UP

Upon shipment, customers will receive a postal tracking link from which they can follow the progress of their shipment according to the latest updates made available by the carrier.

PACKAGES DAMAGED IN TRANSIT

If you discover that a parcel has been damaged in transit, please refuse the parcel from the courier and contact our customer service department. If the parcel has been delivered without you being present, please contact customer service for the next steps.

DUTIES AND TAXES

Sales tax

All Canadian residents are subject to GST or HST (depending on your province). Taxes are not charged for U.S. residents or other residents outside Canada, with the rare exception of delivery from an in-state service provider.

Import duties and taxes

Import duties and taxes for international shipments may be payable upon arrival in the destination country. This varies by country, and Family Memories encourages you to be aware of these potential costs before placing an order with us.

If you refuse to pay duties and taxes upon arrival in your destination country, the goods will be returned to Family Memories at the customer's expense, and the customer will receive a refund of the value of the goods paid for, less return shipping costs. The cost of the original shipment will not be refunded.

CANCELLATIONS

If you change your mind before receiving your order, we can accept cancellations at any time before the order is shipped. If an order has already been shipped, please refer to our refund policy.

PROCESS FOR PACKAGES DAMAGED IN TRANSIT

We will process a refund or replacement as soon as the shipping department has completed its investigation of the claim.

Process for packages lost in transit

We will process a refund or replacement once the carrier has investigated and deemed the package lost.
